• In November 2023, Jeannie and Audrey volunteered at Employment Authorization Clinics in Reading, Massachusetts, which were organized by the state of Massachusetts in conjunction with local non-profit organizations and AILA. These clinics were organized to assist recent migrants living in shelters in Massachusetts in securing employment authorization. The clinics were covered in the local media.

  • On October 6, 2023, Jeannie and Audrey both spoke at AILA New England’s annual chapter conference. Jeannie moderated a panel of speakers from USCIS, CBP and ICE; Audrey spoke on complex family-based immigration.

  • On May 8, 2023, Audrey and her colleagues from AILA’s asylum liaison committee published an article in the Boston Globe regarding current asylum policies. This opinion piece was entitled “Biden administration employs Trump-style immigration tactics.”

  • On December 6, 2022, Jeannie spoke on the topic of asylum at AILA National’s Fundamentals Conference in Las Vegas, NV.

  • On October 20, 2022, Jeannie spoke at AILA New England’s monthly chapter meeting on the topic of ICE and tips for working with local liaisons.

  • On June 18, 2022, Jeannie was the Discussion Leader on a panel regarding provisional waivers at AILA National’s Annual Conference in New York, NY.

  • On March 2, 2022, Jeannie moderated a panel of speakers from USCIS, CBP, and ICE as part of AILA New England Chapter’s Annual Conference in Boston, MA.

  • On March 3, 2021, Jeannie spoke at AILA New England Chapter’s Annual Conference in Boston, MA, on a panel of AILA liaisons to provide policy and practice updates for ICE/ERO.

  • On September 22, 2020, Jeannie spoke on the panel, “Immigration and Family Law,” a webinar hosted by Social Law Library.

  • On March 5, 2020, Jeannie spoke on the panel, “Immigration Enforcement from Different Perspectives,” with the Boston Bar Association.

  • On February 28, 2020, Audrey co-chaired AILA New England Chapter’s Annual Conference in Boston, MA; Jeannie spoke on the panel of AILA liaisons to provide policy and practice updates for ICE/ERO.

  • On January 24, 2020, Audrey presented a panel on “Inadmissibility Waivers” as a faculty member at the immigration training at MCLE Boston.

  • For the past two years, Audrey has co-chaired AILA New England Chapter’s Annual Conference in Boston, MA.

  • On July 10, 2018, Audrey spoke at the MCLE program, "'1st Look' at Immigration Enforcement Under the Current Administration."

  • On June 16, 2018, Jeannie spoke on the topic of immigration detention at the American Immigration Lawyer's Association Annual Conference in San Francisco, CA.

  • On May 14, 2018, Jeannie spoke at the Boston Bar Association's advanced training on the immigration consequences of crimes and relief from removal.

  • On April 6, 2018, Audrey co-chaired the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education's Annual Family-Based Immigration Conference, Boston, MA.  Jeannie also spoke at this conference on the topic of inadmissibility waivers.

  • On March 23, 2018, Jeannie spoke on immigration law at the Boston Education Collaborative, High Risk Youth Network.

  • On March 22, 2018, Audrey spoke on immigration law at the North Shore Haitian Adult Day Health.

  • On February 20, 2017, Audrey appeared on Telemundo Boston to discuss President Trump’s first travel ban.

  • On February 4, 2017, Jeannie's letter to the editor in support of sanctuary cities was published in the Boston Globe.  The Globe later included her letter as one of 19 letters to the editor in its "2017 in the words of Globe readers" article at the end of 2017. 

  • On January 30, 2017, Jeannie appeared on NBC Boston to speak about President Trump's travel ban. 

  • On January 29, 2017, Jeannie joined other AILA and ACLU attorneys at Boston Logan Airport to assist travelers affected by President Trump's travel ban.
