Jeannie Kain, Founder and Owner
Attorney Jeannie Kain has been working in immigration law since 1998. She has always been fascinated by cross-cultural relations, and is committed to making justice accessible to all immigrants. She has practiced immigration law in a variety of settings as a lawyer since 2004, has served as Chair of the New England Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), and is conversant in Spanish.
Krystle M. Santana, Associate Attorney
Krystle counsels clients in a variety of matters, including deportation relief, family-based immigration, and family and probate matters. Krystle earned her B.A. and M.S. magna cum laude from University of Massachusetts Boston (UMass Boston), and her J.D. cum laude from New England School of Law. During law school, Krystle interned at a Boston-based immigration firm with a primary focus on family-based immigration. She also participated in a family law clinic where she assisted indigent clients with contempt of parenting plans and divorce.
Erin S. Smith, Law Clerk
Originally from southeast Michigan, Erin earned her B.A. from Kalamazoo College where she studied political science and Spanish. She discovered a passion for immigration law while working as a paralegal, focusing on family-based immigration and inadmissibility waivers. This experience inspired her to pursue a legal career, and she went on to earn her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law. During law school, Erin gained experience across multiple areas of law, including humanitarian immigration, housing, and welfare law. She has spent time in both Chile and Spain and speaks Spanish with professional proficiency.
Juliana S. Sena, Legal Assistant
Growing up in Chelsea, Massachusetts, Juliana has always been immersed in diverse communities and cultures. These experiences shaped her journey at Boston University, where she earned a BA in International Relations with a minor in Public Relations. While at BU, she actively contributed as a staffer in the Student Government’s Engagement department and served as an editor for the Pre-law Review, the university’s law journal. Currently, she is furthering her passion for the legal field as a legal assistant at Kain Immigration.
