Kain Immigration, LLC seeks a full-time associate immigration attorney.
We are a small law firm in Boston that specializes in immigration law. We handle complex cases involving all aspects of family-based immigration, waivers, asylum, and removal proceedings. We are committed to this work. We serve on national and local liaison committees, speak at conferences and trainings, mentor other attorneys in the community, and, despite all present challenges, work for systemic change to make the U.S. a more welcoming place for immigrants.
The associate attorney will be handling these types of cases, and can expect to attend immigration hearings and interviews in New England periodically, and to have daily interactions with clients from all over the world. Fluency in Spanish is required, as are a love of working with people from all walks of life and a commitment to excellence in legal representation.
Candidates must hold a law degree from an accredited U.S. law school, be admitted to the bar, and have at least 2 years of U.S. immigration experience, including experience working directly with a diverse client base. This experience could have been gained as a lawyer, a law student, or a paralegal. The position is open to recent law school graduates with relevant experience, contingent on admission to the bar. Excellent writing, time management, and organizational skills are also required. The applicant must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Salary is in the range of $75,000 to $80,000, based on the applicant’s qualifications. The job will be mostly in-person at our downtown Boston office, with flexibility to work remotely on occasion.
